Chad Leath
Personal Trainer
Chad Leath began his athletic career at Henderson High School, where he participated in football, cross country, and track and field. Because of his high school success on the track, Chad received a collegiate scholarship to run for Northwestern State University. While at Northwestern, Chad broke the 15 year old school record in the 400 hurdles, and was a four time Southland Conference All-Academic student athlete. He was also a four time NCAA Division I regional qualifier in the 400 meter hurdles, 110 meter hurdles, and 4x400 meter relay. In addition to these successes, Chad was also a junior USA Track and Field (USATF) qualifier, USATF qualifier, and an NCAA Division I National qualifier.
Chad received his bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science, as well as a master’s degree in Science (Sport Administration) from Northwestern. While obtaining his master’s degree, Chad was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach with volleyball, and a sprints/hurdles coach for track and field. He also conducted research for the Health and Human Performance Department where he presented research at national conventions, and is currently finishing up one international publication from these experiences. In addition to providing group and personal training services for sCULPture athletes of all levels, Chad is gaining invaluable experience as a strength and conditioning intern coach at the University of Texas, working with football, volleyball and tennis teams.
